On 13th of August 2017 we are happy to invite all owners of rough or smooth collies to participate in our annual farm fun festival "Ranch Collie ® 2017" at rural sports and entertainment center for collies "Kollhozs ®".

The Program:

Contestants (dogs and their owners) will be involved in broad variety of sport activities and amusements:
- Great Washday (obstacle course)
- Metamdiski ® (80th level) (fetch)
Referees to be announced.
Hosting party Ieva Līpīte and Agris Straujups.

Contestants

Every owner of rough or smooth collie can join the competition with one or multiple dogs, regardles of membership in kennel club or pedigree. The only mandatory requirement - valid proof of vaccination.
Participation fee for one dog - 20 euros, for each next dog of the same owner - 10 euros.
Members of "Kollhozs ®" will recieve discount.

Rewards

Three best contestants in each competition will be rewarded with diplomas and medals, veterans will be rewarded in separate group. Distingushed title "Ranch collie 2017" will be given to nominee chosen by Grand jury regardless to candidate position in overall standing. Proven friendly attitude, agility, sense of humor that's what matters for jury. Owner of "Ranch collie 2017" title will get diploma, medal, Cup and real cowboy's Stetson (hat). Hosts and sponsors have right to provide additional rewards at their discretion.

Important!

Contestants are expected to bring snacks and beverages for common picnicking.

Watermelons are traditional for this event.

Use of all kinds of photo and video gadgets is especially welcomed. At the final stage of event common album will be created and pictures shared among all participants (bring your flash memory cards).

Location and time

Latvia, district of Kandava, Vānes parish, Varieba hamlet, "Straumēni" ranch.
Registration and examination starts at 09:00 AM, opening ceremony starts at 10:00 AM.
There will be parking place for cars and camping place for contestant's tents.
